Mercedes C36 AMG W202 Auto Saloon.

We have a very rare find, The Mercedes C36 AMG That has been fully restored over a period of around 4 Years. Very rare to find yet to find one that has had a complete nut and bolt strip and rebuild is rare as the restoration costs on such a car tends to be more than double its value. I purchased this car going back in the year from the owner whom had spent years restoring. He purchased as project in Covid, An architectural engineer whom started the project over the next 5 Years. He carried much of the work out himself along with using a restorer in Poland ( Not uncommon these day’s we ourselves use 2 Restorer’s in Poland and find the workmanship to be of an excellent standard. The car was bare metal stripped prior to painting along with any areas of rust addressed and rebuilt with new parts or original parts that could be blasted and powder coated as the car was rebuilt along with new body panels such as wings etc. The engine had an overhaul along with Startech Mercedes replacing the cam chain last year. The gearbox was good and had new seals a full service and new gaskets. Sunroof refurbished fully, full new wiring loom, new rear subframe LSD Differential refurbished, All suspension and brakes refurbished and replaced, full tech under seal. all rubbers replaced and many other items refurbished or replaced. The interior was and is very good and needed very little I could go on .… Lots of photos and receipts for the build. As a result we have a superb and very rare C36 In restored condition. I couldn’t resist buying this car as I am a Mercedes lover, the drive instantly reignites my love affair with cars absolutely superb. However I’m looking at buying a house and have put a few of my cars up for sale hoping this one doesn’t go.. I have now done around 2000 Miles in the car and have a little list of things I would do to complete. Passenger vanity mirror cover missing - Front grill has a stone chip I would replace - Rear passenger bumper chrome trim has a tiny dent, Radio condenser wines for a few minutes when cold on start up, front and rear anti roll bar bushes were replaced with poly, hate them and would fit OEM Mercedes bushes as it tracks the road more than my liking, Rear spoiler brake light not operating 2 x Alloy have a tiny blemish. Car drives and performs superb and all items work as they should. 

Superbly finished in classic Mercedes silver with Factory tinted glass to chrome and black detail all completed with Phase one Aero mono block AMG Alloy wheels.

The interior is completed with black perforated seats to black and carbon dash surround. 

Owners wallet all manuals along with original service book and 2 x Key’s folder of receipts and many photos from the build. 4 Owners from new.. 

The car was originally supplied by DickLovett Swindon and maintained by them for many years. An early example hence the Aero 1 Alloy wheels that was only available on the early cars. I could go on for day’s ! If your a Mercedes enthusiast or collector the car is worth viewing as i’m confident you wouldn’t find another and not at this price.
