Range Rover 3.5l - 4 Speed manual Classic Three door. (1981)

Land Rover Rang Rover 3.5 V8 Classic 3 Door 1981. 

We have been consigned to sell this rare example of the  Range rover 3 Door 3.5 V8 - 4 Speed manual. Finished in Bahama gold with steel silver wheels and black detail. The interior is completed with sand leather seats to beige carpets and black dash surround. 

Originally imported from south Africa in 2017. When it was put into storage for the next 8 Years being used sparingly and having light restoration works carried out the owner has now decided to sell. The car has come direct from a garage who has just recommissioned with a full service and addressing many items at a cost of £2,900.00. The Range Rover does still need some works carried out. The rear door hatch needs addressing we do have a spare rear window and new door handle to go with the car. Though the engine was said to be fully rebuilt 10 Years ago prior to being stored it is a little smokey. Drives superb and pulls lovely and smooth through the gears however when driving back from the garage it was smoking a little are getting a smell of burning oil. Today when i drove the engine didn’t smoke at all !! . Suspected to be a stuck piston ring or maybe now unstuck the Gearbox performs superb and brakes are all good. 

The condition is very good ! Completely rust free chassis and bodywork with no oxidising to the panels or paintwork. The RR Has certainly had some extensive restoration as the paintwork and bodywork is in excellent condition with straight panels. Good lights and all rubbers in good condition. The interior being refurbished and in excellent condition where the engine bay could do with a details and a repaint. Please inspect for yourself as i have no paperwork to back up any restoration though clearly shows it has had extensive restoration works carried. 

The vehicle is showing to have covered 34,630 Kmh We cannot verify this mileage to be true as we have no paperwork to back this up. The Range Rover is a very rare and desirable collectors piece with little to complete and worth taking the time to view..
