Triumph TR-6
We have been consigned by our client to sell this superb example of the Triumph TR-6 Convertible.
Superbly finished in midnight blue with black inserts to chrome furniture, Black vinyl roof with plastic rear window all completed with Multi spoke alloy wheels and diamond cut rim. All makes for a stunning looking TR-6.
The interior is completed with cream seats with blue piping extended to door cards, Blue carpets black dash surround all completed with wood veneer dashboard.
The TR-6 Is presented in superb condition both inside and out, i have been able to find just 1 minor stone chip to the rear arch, the chrome rim on the alloy wheels are in need of a little polishing to make perfect. There are no dents or scratches to the bodywork and no rust present, chassis is also rust free. interior is in excellent condition. The car drives superb and all items work as they should including the overdrive unit. The car has benefited from having power steering added that compliments the drive.
The Car has a very good service record and we have a very large file of invoices dating back many years showing all works and maintenance. In 2011 The Car had a body off restoration that was carried out by one owner who then sold once all the preparation was done and ready for paint. We have a CD With all the photos for the restoration. The next owner then completed the restoration having the car painted in this beautiful midnight blue with cream interior. There are so many receipts for the car i also noticed the top end was rebuilt along with new cam chain in 2015. The car had covered 50,000.00 Miles at the time of restoration and has now covered 107,117 Miles.
We note the car is MOT Exempt however we would have no problem putting a new mot on the car for the new owner.
To Note the chassis was treated with rubberised protection
Telescopic suspension fitted
All discs and brakes replaced with all rubbers and steering components.
Gearbox rebuilt, new wiring. new roof. With over 1000 Man hours for the restoration in 2011. This was prior to paint and rebuild up. The car has clearly been cherished to date as the condition is superb.
