AC Cobra Pilgrim Sumo.

Finished to a very good standard, this build has been very well thought out; one of the better examples of the AC factory Built Cobra Kit Car.
Superbly finished in Ford Pacifica Metallic Blue, complimented by Le Mans White Stripes, 17 Inch Halibrand alloys with spinners, front and rear chrome nudge bars, stainless steel roll bars, solid chrome fuel cap, chrome side pipes with removable heat shields, chrome windshield surround, which make for a superb looking AC Cobra.

The cockpit has been finished in a mild cream leather complemented with dark royal blue carpet along with wood and polished alloy, the chrome dials complete the very attractive cockpit. Again, the standard along with layout and choice of instruments is very tasteful and to a superb standard.

Thankfully the car comes with full tailor made weather gear, as you can see in the photos and are in as new condition. There is a full soft top with side windows, along with quick cover for weather and security protection.

The Build.
The car was built in 2005 for a Royal Air Force Lynx Pilot, where the build was well thought out. This car has been built on a 1990 Ford Sierra Cosworth Chassis, using Cosworth front and rear suspension and brakes, Cosworth master cylinder and Cosworth steering rack,  complimented with a Chevrolet V8 305 ci Short Block that has recently been stroked to, 335 ci 5,5 litre, now producing 300 BHP, 305 ft/lbs of torque. Pre and stroked figures included in data pack. All this extensive work was carried out by Interpro costing in excess of £2,500.

This is a very good example with an excellent choice of running gear certainly a good choice for the serious buyer of the AC Cobra. The finest engine complimented with a superb balanced chassis, the suspension, disk brakes and steering from the Sierra Cosworth, makes for a truly enjoyable drivers car, along with a superb delivery of power from the chevy short block V8.

The car has also recently been complemented with some necessary upgrades.  These include: oil cooler replacement, and electronic ignition.

The car is in very good condition when it comes to its body work. The paint is fresh and vibrant. The interior and cockpit dash board are all in excellent condition. The car has been very well maintained within its life.  It comes with a full folder of documented receipts for servicing maintenance, along with any other works that have been carried out.
