We have been commissioned by our client to sell this very rare and exciting  Dowsett Comet Super performance road race car. Only 2 Cars were manufactured, this car having the V8 Drivetrain where the other was sent to the states to be fitted with Tesla running gear.

Superbly finished in Porsche crayon grey and detailed with high chrome alloy all completed with these stunning banded deep dish alloy wheels makes for a superb looking sports coupe.

The interior has been completed with aniseed red diamond stitched extended leather to the centre console and door cards and dash surround all detailed with brushed alloy and chrome.

This is a very rare and extremely well built performance car. I have spent the day with this car and was very surprised to the build quality and the detail that has gone into this car. The finish is superb and no money has been spared on materials or the engineering within the build. The drive is excellent and the car performance superbly where you appreciate the amount of time money and work that has been put into the Comet.

The look may be pure classic, but the underpinnings are very much up to date. For a start, the Comet is powered by the tried and tested GM LS3 6.2 litre V8 which in this form produces almost 430bhp. Very adequate for a car weighing in at just over 1500kg. Performance figures back this up, with a 0-60mph time of just 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 150mph+Transmission is a 5-speed Manual Tremec T5 gearbox.

The Comet was built to order for a client of Dowsett and comes with Blue tooth, Electric windows, Power steering, Reversing camera and air conditioning. The build cost new was £150,000.00 And you wouldn’t be disappointed by any means at this price. This is the only car produced with a genuine V8 Derived power train and is as beautiful in the flesh as you see in the portfolio.

My client has appointed myself to sell for him and one thing to discuss was how much is this car worth ! It’s worth every penny of what we are selling for taking into account it is the only example in the world, once viewed and tested you will only agree the car has been built and completed to a superb standard and will excite any born and bread motoring our racing enthusiast.

The Comet is presented in superb condition both inside and out, all items work as they should and comes with 2 Working key’s and all manuals along with build sheet and purchase invoice.
